Cat5 cables for more reliable connections
Cat5 cable is a high signal integrity cables and are available in twisted pairs. You can find them in both shielded and unshielded forms. Cat5 cables are frequently used in ATM machines and voice services. Due to the standard specification, Cat5 cables have limited use. You can also observe that the Cat5 cables are considered outdated in front of structured cables like Ethernet. There specifications were completely different in ANSI/EIA-568-A/TIA and TSB-95’s.
